Objectives of the Experiential Learning Week

Background and Purpose of Study Visits for S1 to S4 Students

 

The overall purpose of the study visits is to raise students' awareness of Global Issues by learning about the differences and similarities between the places they visit and where they live in Hong Kong. We also want students to become more aware of Environmental Issues by looking at the environmental impact of the communities they visit and, where appropriate, how these communities seek to protect the environment.

 

The Providers

 

This year the ELW Study Trips are very different because we have selected providers who:

 

• Have a strong experience of working with both international and local HK schools,

• Specialize in planning and organizing learning and adventure activities

• Are very familiar with the destinations we have chosen

• Have qualified and experienced staff

• Can work with us to create a unique and memorable learning experience for all our students
